Bio
Following was borrowed from contributor Juanda Owens B's profile page with which I strongly agree: "I think it is a real shame what findagrave has evolved into. What started as a noble way to link le with graves of loved ones they could never hope to see, and with the generations that had preceded them, has turned into a game for some. Memorials have turned into a kind of "trading card", a competition of who can own the most memorials and post the highest numbers. What has been forgotten by many is that these were people, loved in life and death, not a commodity to be traded or owned. With my apologies to those that have pure motives. I hope there are more of us than there are of them". A Person's Actions Will Tell You Everything You Need To Know About Them! PAY ATTENTION Thanks! :)

For those of you that leave flowers for my family, I Thank You.
This pix is of my baby girl (Toni Stewart), she is named after Tony Stewart of NASCAR and she does have his tenacity.
If I can do, at least, one thing a day to help someone or to make a person smile or laugh, then my day has been made." jhh

Being a native of a place does not mean a person was born there and I can't accept these edits as a place of birth. This can lead to false information and can lead to errors being made. I will accept a place of birth if the source says "date or birth" or "born on" a date. I will make a note in the bio section: Native of ?????????. I will use myself as an example. I was born in Claxton, Evans County, Georgia but I grew up in Savannah, Chatham, Georgia & Jesup, Wayne County, Georgia. I am a native of Savannah but I was not born there.

If a photo volunteer take the time to acquire photos for you, please take time to properly THANK them.

I transcribe and photograph cemeteries/grave sites because I know there is someone out there who can't make the trip or who doesn't really know where their loved ones resting place may be. My Motto: By Preserving Our Past, We Prepare For The Future!jhh That one transcription or photo CAN make a difference!
