9~11 JANUARY 2021 ~ BRAVO ~ Jamie, David, Diana, Eric, Joaquin, Joe, Madeleine, Stacey and Ted.
Thank you on behalf of my ancestors.

DEATH CERTIFICATES, OBITS, etc.: When I receive an edit I look up ALL records and will add whatever is necessary. I crop, focus, straighten all images before posting, to show respect for the deceased and their families. Please refrain from adding an array of poor quality images. It makes the memorial look junky.
ATTENTION: If you come across any photos that are turned askew anyone can now rotate them upright.
Click on the photo and you'll see two circular arrow icons that you can use to rotate the photo.
IMPORTANT: I receive incorrect edits on a daily basis. DO NOT send edits unless the info appears in a RECORD of some sort (Birth, marriage or death certificates, probate record, censuses, bible, personal letter, back of a photo, etc..) I research every edit sent my way. IF THE EDIT INFORMATION IS NOT FOUND IN A RECORD IT WILL BE DECLINED. Also, just because something is on a family tree does not mean it's accurate. Often the sources on a tree do NOT even contain the information they're attached to. For instance if a tree says the name is PENELOPE. Then PENELOPE better show up in one of those records. I will not make assumptions, because this is how incorrect information gets spread all over the internet.

SSDI (Social Security Death Index):
It lists LAST KNOWN RESIDENCE, which is often NOT the same as the PLACE OF DEATH. For this reason the SSDI should not be used as a source for place of death edits. The place of death is on the death certificate or in the death notice, funeral notice or obituary.

MILITARY PREFIX: Traditionally, using the rank with the name was reserved for KIA/MIA soldiers or those who retired from a long service career. For all others the rank is already included in the headstone inscription.
