Bio

I was born in 1930 in the family home in Toledo, Ohio, the fourth child of six. The family moved to Michigan in 1939 and I enlisted in the United States Marines in 1948 after high school. I was discharged in 1952 and married in 1953. I have two wonderful daughters, five grandchildren, two great grand daughters and four great grandsons. Family has always been important to me and genealogy just seemed to blend in with everyday conversations.
I am researching the Fallis, Purkey, Onstott, Hutchinson, DeShanaway, Perron, Haver, Cassady, Holmes, and Hartman "Tree Trunks" with their many branches. I am also doing research on my wife's family that includes Pilbeam and Schultz families from Lenawee & Monroe County, Michigan areas.
