Gare passed away on Dec 22, 2009. Gare had a lifelong passion for genealogy and created thousands of memorials on Find A Grave based on obituaries published on the internet.

If you are a relative or family friend of the deceased for one of the memorials Gare created I would be happy to transfer management of the memorial to you.

NOTE: I plan to keep ownership of all memorials to which I am related.

I receive many transfer requests. To simplify the process for me, please make a request by sending an email to [email protected] with the following:

- Name of the deceased
- A link to the memorial (the link includes the memorial ID)
- Your Find A Grave name and contributor ID

Note To Findagrave Volunteers:
If you have "adopted" and care for memorials in one or more cemeteries in your area, I would be happy to transfer all memorials that Gare created in those cemeteries to you. Send me an email to [email protected] with the following:

- Name of the cemetery
- A link to the cemetery (the link includes the cemetery ID)
- Your Find A Grave name and contributor ID
