My name is Gerald Brewer. I was born in Blackburn, Washington County Arkansas.I attended school 1 year at Blackburn. Blackburn was a one room school with grades 1 thru 8. The school is still standing and in great shape. Blackburn consolidated with Winslow and I went to Winslow from the 2nd thru the 6th grade. My family moved to White County, Arkansas in 1953.
