Bio
Note: April 2019, from Joyce Larsen RE Lloyd (lloker) Tinker:
Lloyd has had a series of health issues the past six months, i.e. broken back, stents, and heart attack. He is currently in rehab from a second fall that cracked his hip. He turned 89 in January. I am trying to find time to answer his email so be patient. My Email is [email protected]
I am a retired engineer after working at GE for 32 years. I was widowed after a 58 year marriage.
Thankfully, I am still very active and healthy at the age of 86. Most of my life I have ridden bicycles. I rode over 78,000 miles between 1980-1990 and I have walked over a million steps (yes, I kept track!) That explains the right hip replacement!
I volunteer two days a week at our local museum photographing items for archiving. I also volunteer two hours a week at our hospice thrift store and, of course, spend endless hours on FAG!
I became interested in Find A Grave when I was working in genealogy with my significant other, Joyce Larsen, and we discovered this site.
When I take photographs, I take a broom, a knife for trimming around the edges and often get down on my knees and sometimes my stomach to get a good photo. I really hate to see photos with mud or leaves and grass on the headstone (especially the military ones!)
I will be happy to transfer a relative to you, or make corrections/additions. Please use the EDIT BUTTON on "Correction Requests" for any changes and on transfers please INCLUDE YOUR ID NUMBER.
