Hello everyone - Thank you so much for leaving flowers for my loved ones! Thank you!
And my Dad is now pain free. My beloved Dad Leonard L. Rodig, #164857784.

I have a large, old, black trunk that belonged to Susan P. West and sister Maude (West) Lowery from the early 1900's - 1940. If you are family from them, please feel free to contact me. Both Susan and sister Maude are buried in the Fairview Cemetery in Council Bluffs, Iowa. I estimate the trunk to be about 1910-1940. Maude West married Harry Lowrey in 1906 - so the trunk is likely during the time that sister Susan P. west was in New York in the 1920's after Maude and Harry married. There are old baby clothes in the trunk, and have not looked at all yet.

Happy Spring everyone! I look forward to helping you out here in Washington State. Let me know if you would like some helps with any research.

When we discovered that the Oregon Trail went through our Stockham family farm in Buhl, Idaho, my love of history grew. And with it, sharing stories of my family and how they came west. What brave families to pioneer West!

I continue to research for family lines and fill in the blank spaces of our tree. Some of the families I am researching are Allen, Rodig, Franklin, Stabbal, Morgel, Stockham, Jones, Lynch, Follon/Fallon, Spangler, Quick, Smith, Johnson, Sherrill, Ferguson, Hamilton, Davis, Crawford, Gardiner, Blick (deBlieck) and Hensley.
