I had originally sponsored 67 memorials through the old version of Find A Grave . After Ancestry. Com bought the site , If I have sponsored a memorial for your loved one and you would like it removed, due to the new blowed up lay out please just ask me and I will notifiy Ancestry. Com to remove it , my feelings will not be hurt over this. I am having all my sponsorships removed due to the new lay out , which make the memorials look horrible. Please do not sponsor any memorials of my loved ones, because all its doing is blowing up the photos and thats not worth $ 10.00 dollars of anyones money. Thank you for respecting my wishes.
Memorials are transferred for relatives with these close relationships: child, spouse/partner, sibling, parent, grandchild, great-grandchild, grandparent, great-grandparent, niece/nephew, great-niece/nephew, aunt/uncle, great-aunt/uncle, or first cousin. This would include adoptive, step and in-law versions of these relationships. I will add what is on the headstone only , not how many times a person has been married. I do not add census records to the memorial's that I maintain . In case of my death , I leave the memorials I maintain to my steward FAG Contributor : Punkin FAG # ID 47803126 ... I would be happy to manage any memorials here, if you don't want to manage them . Thanks to all who still visit my loved ones. When requesting a transfer please state your direct relationship. The memorials that I maintain from fallen graver Mary Coursey and David Woody , I had acquired with the original Find A Grave site and rules before Ancestry .Com bought and changed the rules as of January 2022 for Find A Grave . According to F/G guidelines and military protocol, only military who died while IN service or RETIRED from service retain their rank. Otherwise, it is noted in the bio and the inscription field. **** Photos of chalked, floured, shaving creamed, wire brushed, or otherwise altered headstones are forbidden and are subject to removal when reported and/or spotted by an administrator. If the chalked photos appear on memorials that you manage, you can ask to have them removed if you object to them. This removal applies to requests from immediate family members as well. In such a case, report the photo to [email protected], including the photo link.
