Bio
I feel uncomfortable posting here as I am being harassed and stalked by other members of Find A Grave. I am not affiliated with any of the Arlington "volunteers".
As for now if you are suggesting edits to a grave because you want the information to look like how you want it to look, I am sorry. I have multiple people saying their way is the best to list a gravesite and they are all different. As a result I will only be approving information for blank gravesites. If the current information is the same as what you are suggesting then it will be declined. I have too many people harassing me and being uncivil so this is how I will operate for the near future.
If the picture isn't to your satisfaction, I can always retake photos if you like, when reasonable.
Please check the American Battle Monuments Commission (ABMC.gov) website before making a request of an American cemetery overseas and add the plot/gravesite to the person you want a picture of. This would help volunteers immensely when taking pictures. Please check the Arlington National Cemetery app/website (http://www.arlingtoncemetery.mil/) to ensure the grave you want a picture of exists. Many times an obit will say someone is to be buried in Arlington and the burial actually takes place in another location, or not for years, if at all. They already have pictures of all the graves on there so you can see it before the request is fulfilled. Don't take one of those pics and post to your FAG memorial though, the Arlington mafia will hunt you down!!!!
Finally, no one cemetery is more important than another. They are all important. Don't ever try to tell me those men and women buried in Normandy, or Brittany or any other cemetery which is not named Arlington are less important.
