Can I add an obituary to my interment listing?

Please do NOT add newspaper article or obituary scans. The photo section is reserved for headstone/grave photos and possibly a portrait photo of the person, if that photo is owned by you. Do not copy and post photographs from obituary or funeral home websites (unless you personally are the photographer), as they are protected by copyright law. Find A Grave reserves the right to remove obituary notices and photographs from memorial records.

I love and value the information contained in obituaries as much as anyone else, but I'm just trying to operate within the Find a Grave guidelines.

Please do not put Death Certificate, scanned Obituary or scanned Marriage License on any of my memorials that I have created. Thank You.

If you have anything you wish added or corrected to a memorial, please use the EDIT tab per Find A Grave rules.

Biographical information left on virtual flowers is reported and removed, please don't waste your time adding it there, send it as a correction to be added to the bio.

If you find a cemetery listed and it happens I am the holder for that person's memorial please CONTACT me by the edit button, do not steal my hard, dedicated work from me, just leave me a message, respect me as I would with you.

"Plead like angels, trumpet-tongued,
"For your damnation:
"And pity, like a naked, new-born babe,
"Striding the blast, or heav'n's cherubim, hors'd
"Upon the sightless couriers of the air,
"Shall blow your horrid deeds in every eye,
"The tears shall drown the wind.+
