I started searching in 1985 for my baby sister that I remembered holding only once. She was 3 days old. From here, the genealogy bug hit. For my momma's family, I drew stories & information, from the family historian, my auntie, Vauta Mae Patton Tenney. She, too was searching for her baby sister. Sadly, Vauta died in 2008 never knowing about her baby sister. I found her sister, Margret "Bitty Ollie" in 2010. Through "picking" Auntie's brain, I created a massive book that records the history of the Patton-Austin-Martin-Trapp family. This is a never ending project that continues to this day. On father's side I'm searching for Covey- Ayres-Blakeman.
