Je me souviens ma famille! Family is a link to the past and therefore a bridge to the future. LOVE & LOYALTY MAKES A FAMILY. SO TREAT YOUR FAMILY AS FRIENDS AND FRIENDS LIKE FAMILY. BUT SOMETIMES FAMILIES ARE MORE LIKE LESSONS THAN BLESSINGS! To lose one's family, one is never really whole does go on...must go on...Regardless, I honor my ancestors & I'm writing what I can of my family history. I have found a blessing for healing my heart and grief . Meanwhile, I have both Arcadian/Quebecois/French-Canadian roots & New England roots. I love history and genealogy. ****** Currently I'm working on proof for: my link to John Moody -
whom was a proprietor of Hartford, Connecticut; Revolutionary War ancestry,( As of Oct. 10, 2020 I'm now a member of DAR - (Daughters of the American Revolution) and I have Mayflower direct descendancy.
Sometimes I bug the local Historical Societies :) I have great respect for veterans too. My DNA results are on & Father: *Alderman* (New England branch), Ford, Bridges, Marks, Moody, Shumway, King\Roy, Aubin, Pomeroy,Maynard, Canedy, Tallmadge and Tyler Mother: Bourque, De(s)fosse(s), Dube, Rioux, Gendron. Meanwhile, I don't just record my family history here on find a grave : I clean and/or fix family graves (whenever possible) - sometimes other people's resting spots also. NOTE: AS OF APRIL 16, 2021 *** To the volunteers that have helped me and have shown kindness to me, that don't ignore me "ghost", willingness to communicate in a respectful manner, take pics for me, change the memorial when I give correct information; leave the most recent pics up when I take a pic of an ancestor that has a memorial that I don't manage and even transfer family memorials: A BIG THANKS! *** =)
