I am searching to maintain or manage my ancestors memorials and any suggestions, pictures are welcome. I am one of the few that is not one here to collect memorials but to honor those in my family that have helped me,my parents and children be who/what we are today. If it weren't for our ancestors...who/where would we be? If you want a transfer I would LOVE to give to you as long as not related to me! Please use edit tab and state relation......thank you and happy digging!~~ IMPORTANT~~~ Transfers - FAG TRANSFER POLICY:
How do I get a relative's memorial transferred to me?
First, Determine if you really need the memorial transferred to you for management. Transferring of management should only be requested If you have extensive changes to make to a memorial. You can add photos and suggest corrections without having to request management. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request. It would be impossible for all contributors to manage their entire tree. Transfer requests that do not include relationship to deceased or are out of guidelines are deleted.

" Dear Ancestor,
Your gravestone stands among the rest;
Neglected & alone
The name & date are chiseled out
On polished, marble stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I existed
You died & I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone
Our Blood contracts & beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived & loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you ".
