Back at work full time, as tech coordinator for our local school and loving it!

Please follow all rules of FAG! If you ignore the rules, I will ignore your request!

I will not link the memorials I created to unknown burials.

Please do not send me information from US Census to be placed in their bio section. I will not place this in the bio section of the memorial. It is not their biography.

Why have Findagrave if you know not what & where the cemetery is? Findagrave means exactly that. Here is the grave. I have several ancestors that I know are buried in a general area, but I refuse to create a cemetery and place them in it, until the cemetery or burial location is actually found.

I do not deliberately create a duplicate, However I have found, with proof, that backdating is occurring, so from this point on, please refer all duplicates that you believe I have created to FAG admins and they will know if backdating has occurred and will delete or merge the two memorials. (all notifications of assumed duplicates will be ignored.)

We ask that duplicate memorials not be added to Find A Grave. When the case of duplicate memorials falls to administration, the first memorial in the correct location or disposition will be the memorial that is kept. We encourage members and applaud their efforts to find the correct location or disposition before adding the memorial to Find A Grave.

I do a thorough search before creating any memorial. I can't control it when someone places the surname Smith (and only Smith) as a memorial and then later go back and change the name to whoever and and move it into a cemetery. That is one way it is called backdating. Sad people are doing this.

Do not ask for a transfer of a memorial if you are trying to monopolize on certain surnames, by just saying I am kin or a relative of mine. State how you are related. If it falls within the guidelines, I will transfer. If not related, I may consider a transfer outside of monopolizing. I do research all request, to verify the relationship. I will report all lies about actual relationships of those I transfer under their request. If you claim to be a child, grandchild or great grandchild of someone ask for a transfer, get the transfer and then later transfer it to another, I do report it. Lies are lies and can be verified.

Do not add obit photos to memorials I create. Obit photos are against FAG rules unless you made the photo yourself. .If this was not the case, I would have placed the photos on myself. Thank you in advance!

Try doing the actual legwork, going to cemeteries, creating memorials, making photos, instead of sitting behind the computer telling others their mistakes.

Please ask before using my photos. You may do this by using the edit tab on any memorial I have created.

I do report all rule violations to the FINDAGRAVE Admins.

Be nice or I will ignore!
