Fallen Graver

Sadly, Kaye Wells has passed away. Please consider visiting their Find a Grave memorial page and leaving some virtual flowers. Their enthusiasm for cemeteries and willingness to help future generations lives on through their contributions to Find a Grave.

Note: I am not about adding as many memorials as I can; but getting memorials added because everyone needs to have a memorial added to Find A Grave. I take my time to make sure things are correct; but I do make mistakes and if there is a correction that I need to make, please use the Edit button on the upper right hand corner of the screen. Don't add a correction in the message section of my page.

March 12, 2015 Update: I am in the process of getting records for several cemeteries, in my area and other area's of the country. I have noticed that memorial's haven't been added to Find A Grave, for many area's of the country.

I am reading books on how to preserve cemeteries and how to do mapping of cemeteries. I am hoping to one day, to visit cemeteries in my area, not only to fulfill photo requests, but to start mapping them.

The Power Words

A careless word may kindle strife.
A cruel word may wreck a life
A bitter word may hate instill
A brutal word may smite and kill.
A gracious word may smooth the way.
A joyous word may light the day.
A timely word may lessen stress.
A loving word may heal and bless.

Author unknown

I find going to the local cemetery, very relaxing and rewarding. I hope that I have helped some families out, by taking pictures of headstone's and posting to Find A Grave.

When I add names to local cemeteries, and there are 2 people named on the headstone, I won't assume the people are married, unless I know otherwise.
