No spring chicken, I've been married to my lovely wife, Karla, for 57 years. Trying to make additions/corrections for deceased members of our family. As I'm totally disabled, I'm also filling time by helping log fellow veterans from National Cemeteries.

My father and his family hailed from Rockcastle County, Kentucky, and dated back to 1622 when our ancestors landed in Jamestown aboard the Gifte of God. My mother and her family came from Hendricks County, Indiana. (She was an orphan when she married, and I'm finding it very difficult to find history regarding her family.)
2016 entry - My son has been doing a tremendous job of researching my mother's family. He has went back into the 1700's, finding our family has Revolutionary soldiers on both sides of the family, Cummins and Fisher. I'm now into my 80's, but I'm sure our grand and great grandchildren will be very proud of our ancestry, thanks to my son, Gary.
I'm a retired Marine. Semper Fi to all.
