Please remember that everything that is written on headstone is INSCRIPTION, not just the bottom line. Most always there is the persons name.

Please leave flowers or memorials on my memorials, I believe everyone deserves flowers, and I have a great family. Thank you in advance.
A BIG THANK YOU to those who send histories, death notices, obits and links to add to the memorials. They are wonderful additions.
You may use my pictures and information for your family trees .This is all put on findagrave for your family trees because so many people have helped me with mine. Thank you.
PLEASE USE the "EDIT" TAB ON THE UPPER RIGHT SIDE OF THE MEMORIAL TO SEND CORRECTIONS AND REQUESTS FOR TRANSFERS. Will gladly add any obits and will add links to family members. " or transfer.
IF A MISTAKE IS FOUND PLEASE EMAIL ME,USING THE EDIT BUTTON ON THE MEMORIAL. This is very important which is why it is CAPITALIZED thank you.
The descendants of the old settlers, those who cleared the land and first upturned the wild sod to the sun, should see that the doings of those early years are fittingly remembered and recorded.
It was once remarked by a great writer that those who take no interest in the deeds of their ancestors are not likely to do anything worthy to be remembered by their descendants.

Your tombstone stands among the rest;
Neglected and alone.
The name and date are chiseled out On polished, marble stone.
It reaches out to all who care It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you in flesh, in blood, in bone.
Our heart contracts and beat a pulse Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled over a hundred years ago Spreads out among the ones you left Who would have loved you so. I wonder if you lived and loved, I wonder if you knew That someday I would find this spot, and come to visit you.
