Hello all! Edit: as of November 2018 I have been diagnosed with stage II breast cancer. I am receiving your emails, edits, and updates. Please be patient as I am in this fight. I will get to all of them when I can. I do address them when I am able. . ***If you wish to add an obituary, please send/cite your sources. I will not infringe on copyrights****I have a love of genealogy and never miss a chance to stop at a random cemetery and take photos. My love for cemeteries started many years ago. The peacefulness..the beauty. When I was researching for my family tree, I would take surrounding photos, hoping I would find family members in the "collateral" pictures I found surrounding the family plots. I ended up in many, many different cemeteries with a lot of folks and photos who didn't belong to me :). I found Find A Grave and found a home for them! The habit eventually expanded to full cemeteries and this is how you have found me here. I photograph "in situ". Unless I am out and purposely recovering and reclaiming a cemetery, the photos are taken as the graves were found on that day in time. It is also in the FAG guidelines. I do not move or remove anything from the graves. I feel this is a personal space belonging to someone and it should be a family member. I may replace fallen flowers or pictures, that is about it. So hi!! There are many here (most of them..) that I am no relation to but I post the photos in hopes that I may help someone along the way. If I have posted the memorial, I have the photo as well (unless for some reason it was too unacceptable for anything but transcription...it happens). I am currently transcribing many...many...cemeteries at one time (over 300). Most of them have been done in their entirety. I transcribe them first to get the information out and available, the photos come in time. I check weekly for photo requests from all of the cemeteries I am working on, please request all and any photos you need and I will add them.I answer my SAC's twice a week. I get a LOT of them. Please do not feel you have to post family information in the "flowers" section. I care about every memorial I post and I do maintain the responsibility that comes with the addition of each and every one of them. They are all a part of someone's family simply waiting to be found. I hope one day they all will be returned to someone who will care for them :)~You live as long as you are remembered~ ☮ ☯ ❤ DionaLucedale, MississippiTRANSFERS: With any Find A Grave memorial that I maintain, if you are a relative and I am not related please request a transfer, I am more than happy to connect you to your families! If you have extensive additions/changes to make to a memorial, please contact the Find A Grave member who created the memorial via the "Suggest a Correction" link under the "Edit" tab on the memorial in question with your request to have the memorial management transferred to you. This will send an email request to the contributor, even if there is not an email address listed on their contributor page.Explain your relationship in the request!
