Bio

My name is Patricia Mlcak Bagwell, and I grew up in the Frydek, San Felipe de Austin, and Sealy communities in Austin County, Texas. And a Czech community!

If you are a relative to anyone I left a flower on a memorial or created a memorial, please contact me. We may be related!
I started researching family history since 1970's, and have provide extensive displays at the Mlcak, Sliva and Bogar-Sula family reunions in Frydek. I also have done displays of the Bagwell-Boswell and Jay lines, my husband's lines.

I have also researched my husband's families of Adair, Bagwell, Boswell, Boykin, Bryan, Cooper, Dean, Jay, Johnson, Jones, Moutray, Page, Reed, White, Woolley and York. Bill has done a DNA, and proven his Bagwell line to Daniel Bagwell b. 1720 of Dublin, Dublin, Ireland.

I have been a member of the Jay Family Association since 1994, and have served many positions. For more info on your Jay ancestry, go to: www.jayfamily.org

I have many, many Maternal and Paternal Grandparents, Greats-Grandparents, and many Aunts and Uncles, and cousins in the St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery in Frydek, Texas, and a few in the San Felipe de Austin Cemetery and some in the Hill Cemetery, Sealy and Wallis cemeteries.

Some of my ancestor's names are: Mlcak, Belunek, Bogar, Hajek, Hynicek, Konark, Kozuschnik, Kutra, Lezak, Machala, Manak, Micek, Mikestik, Muznik, Ondrusak, Pisek/Piska, Radda, Repiska, Schiska, Sivek, Sliva, Sula, Tomanek, Vasut, Vesely, Zavodny, and Zetka.

My father, Henry R. Mlcak, took care of the Frydek Catholic cemetery records for many years.

I will be trying to add in photos and other information as time permits. I would love to hear from any of my relatives, and hopefully, you can provide additional photos, info, and stories!

Please contact me through " Edits" of the Ancestor's Memorial page.

Thank you,

Patricia Mlcak Bagwell
