Find a Grave ID

I started on Find a Grave to add photos of my family graves. The penny dropped some time later that it was a bit of a waste going to a cemetery and just taking one photo. So now I take lots! It's become a bit of an obsession. Nothing wrong with that, right?

My current obsession is Rookwood Cemetery located in Sydney, Australia. My cemetery partner-in-crime Kaz Bee & I have completed photographing the following sections.

Anglican Section 6
Anglican Section 8
Anglican Section 13 & 13A
Anglican Section 15 & 15A
Anglican Section 16 & 16B
Anglican Section 19 & 19A
Anglican Section TT
Granite Lawn 3
Catholic Section 19
Maori Lawn

May 2020 - Currently working on Remembrance Lawn 1, Granite Lawn 4 & Magnolia Grove.

If there is no photo for a memorial in one of these sections, it usually means there is no headstone unless, of course, the headstone is hidden behind some huge tree (which happens!).

I now watermark all my photos - mainly so I can prove it's my photo when people copy them & post them onto Facebook. Contrary to what some people may think, it's not due to any sort of ego trip - it's a protection of my copyright. It may just be a photo of a headstone but I still hold the copyright to these photos. I am over people who think it's fine to "share". Sharing on a public website is totally different to using my photo on your family tree site. This I have no objection to.

If you would like one of my photos without the watermark, ask nicely and you may just receive. Don't leave a passive/aggressive comment on my FAG page.
