I began cemetery research and preservation in 1996.
Much of history was recorded in the context of a segregated society, and the reader should readily discern between pre- and post-desegregation observations. The terms "black," "colored," "negro," and "white" in my memorials should not be considered offensive as they have been used according to the custom of the particular period.
When I receive an edit I try to research and verify, if possible, the information in the edit, this usually takes longer than 37 minutes from the time you submit the edit. Some days I may receive 20-30 edits and this may also cause the time it takes to process longer. Find A Grave allows 21 days to process edits, I try to have the request researched and processed within a week.
