For questions about transfers and adding obituaries to memorials please read through the Find A Grave Frequently Asked Questions. The transfer guidelines shown there are followed. Find A Grave Transfer Guidelines - Memorials are transferred for direct relatives within four generations. This includes your spouse, siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Per Find A Grave rules I do not add obituaries with living family members listed.
For changes and additions to memorials, please use Edit tab found on each memorial. This makes the correction cycle much shorter and more likely to end up with the desired results.
Please remember that if you add a memorial with an unknown location and a later memorial is added with the correct burial location, your unknown burial location memorial is considered to be the duplicate, and the memorial in the correct location, the original.
