I lived and worked in the Dallas area over 35 years and now reside in northeast Texas. I got interested in my family genealogy while researching and searching for my biological family. Being adopted, I was blessed with 2 families. So I have many trees and branches going in all different directions, some which led right back to east Texas....and I LOVE the older cemeteries in this area (Cass, Camp, Gregg, Harrison, Henderson, Marion, Morris, Panola, Titus and Upshur counties) I do like to be accurate in linking so I do my own research, but welcome your contributions and suggestions! PLEASE do not post death certificates on memorials I have created. We do not frame them and hang them on the wall! The photo section of the memorial should be for just that...photos of the person, tombstone, etc.
TRANSFERS: I stay within the guidelines due to previous transfer problems and arguments among family. My suggestion to you is to create a virtual cemetery to place the memorials for your family. You can find them easily no matter who the creator and manager of the memorial might be.
If you send me an edit and I cannot verify it on my own, I will still generally accept it, but will place your name on the memorial, so if someone has a question about it, they can contact you! I do NOT link to unknown burial memorials afterall, the site is called Find a Grave for a reason. Please DO NOT link unknowns to my memorials.
All edits need to go through the edit tab on the memorial, not email.
Please always remember: You catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar and HAPPY HUNTING !!!
