I have been researching the Kavanaugh Clan for some time. During my strolls through the cemeteries I took pictures of headstones trying to find my relatives. It is important to keep a picture of the headstone. As genealogist you feel a validation to that person.
Vandalism comes in many forms whether it be the most severe of adolescents destroying markers to our past family or to the tractor's used to mow that chip, break bases and knock over headstones.
Researching William Davis line from Dallas to Bibb County, Alabama. Very mind bottling about one of his son's Ransom Davis.
Researching Bennet Daniel Ponder. Born in Simpson County, Mississippi. This is my great grandfather. He lived in Copiah County, MS. Very little is known by me at this time. Any help would be appreciated. I have his father as Amos Ponder and mother Harriett Evans Ponder. She is buried at Poplar Springs Cemetery. Any help appreciated.
I hope my small contributions helps others.
