Hello All! I've had so much help from other contributors on this website during the process of documenting my family lineage/heritage. The most significant event: finding my maternal grandfather, which resulted in finding my mother as well as other (living) siblings I never knew I had. This all unfolded during January 2013. You all will never know how much this means to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

BIO update 6-2013: Lost my eldest cousin William Henry Britigan "Brit" Combs, Jr . He worked hard, but played even harder. It all finally caught up with him.

BIO update 7-8-2013: Had my initial meeting with 4 out of 7 siblings over July 4th holiday this year. What an outstanding event! Again, ever so grateful to fellow graver Dennis Johnson for his initial efforts in Jan 2013 that helped to bring this about!

BIO update 1/2014: My younger half-sister passed too soon. She lead a hard life, which, unfortunately, caught up with her. Michelle Dana Combs

BIO update 3/2014: I've finally met all 5 siblings that I first learned about through this website. What a joy! My little brother and I now have family! Also: #7 and I have relocated to Spokane WA, in order to be more centrally located to several of these family members. A new chapter and so much fun in store!

BIO update 5/2014: My former step-mother passed. Carol Miller Combs

Bio update 11/3/2015: Sad news. I lost one of my new-found brothers in July: James Harold Rucks
We didn't have much time together, but what we had was filled with love. I was also diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in May, so it's been quite the ride for the last few months. Chemo done & Surgery and radiation done on Jan 7 2016! I continue with my amateur efforts with heritage & genealogy. Learning a lot along the way and met a lot of great (and some not so great) people out there!

Bio update 5/25/2016: My Uncle James Irwin Clark, whom I saw only twice, passed.

Bio update 2/2017: Lost my eldest sister's husband. Dave Dutton

Lost My sister 6/26/2021 Martha Ellen "Marty" Frady
Update: Marty's ashes were scattered following a heart-felt farewell ceremony off the coast of Morro Bay California. It was one of her favorite places.

I am not related to the majority of my entries, but have added them with the hope that other researchers who have come to a dead end may be helped. With respect to those entries, I have no other information available as I have tried to include as much info as I have. Additionally, when possible, I update information in FamilySearch.org. Balancing the information between these two sites takes a good deal of time and effort.

In your communications with me, please be gentle. Remember, these memorials do not magically appear. Rather, I am a volunteer who has donated my time and considerable efforts willingly - to help those looking for a piece of themselves, a bit of history. I set up memorials as accurately as I can, research folks, visit cemeteries, and update the memorials with new or different information.

I am proud of my work, even when mistakes are made - and they are. I do not respond well to demands or demeaning messages telling me all the things I haven't done, all the things I have done wrong or that I am not meeting your standards. A simple word of thanks or appreciation goes so much further than a list of your complaints.

That being sad: Happy Hunting everyone!
