A heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributes to my and other memorials on Findagrave, but please do not send too many updates. Nobody should be expected to make Findagrave a full time job.

Please consider if what you are sending is important. Most of the update requests I get are not. Minor requests like " please change the order of photos" really do not need to be sent. And if you are sending someone else's transcription, please do not. It is not yours to send.

PLEASE NOTE I am not able to respond to texts, Facebook messages or others sent to email. People who try to circumvent the system are not welcome. Very sorry, I use a secondary email account for Findagrave and other accounts that I can only check when time permits.

Obits under copyright should be summarized or will not be posted. In most cases, there is a 72-year or longer time period.

I also respect the right of hard working transcribers, so please do not ever send work done by others.

I share my tombstone photos freely, but only if appropriate attribution is added.

If you wish to download a tombstone picture, you may do so for personal usage and should give proper credit. Under no circumstances should they be added to other sites (such as Ancestry) as if they are your own.

If you are interested in a photo other than a tombstone, do not download it without permission. You may leave me a message on my profile page and I will let you know if you can use it or need to pay a licensing fee.

Remember. Even if a photographer took a photo that is now out of copyright, if the copyright was inherited or belongs to a special collection (many that I own or control), licensing fees can legally be applied.

Unfortunately, so many have been wrongfully stolen, I reserve the right to take appropriate legal action if any are lifted and republished without appropriate permission. If you have added my work to other online sites, or placed in public or private archives as if it is your own, please delete them. Thank you.

One of my interests is the American Revolutionary war period. The link on the bottom will take you to a research page on Facebook. It's a wonderful place where interested researchers help others find resources.
