My greatest passion in life is genealogy and family history. It all started in the 80s when my birth mother decided she wanted to know her roots. She now knows first hand and the mystery of her mother's genealogy is still a mystery to me.
I have a serious tremor so photographing headstones is not an option but I am willing to help others where possible. In addition to my own direct lines, I support my extended family members in their quest for knowledge.
Family names I am actively researching: HALL, VAN SCOY, PEOPLES/PEEBLES, DeBERRY, BAKER, MARTIN, DONAHUE, BENNION, LEHNER, VALENTINI/VALENTINE, CIFERNI, BROWN, KNAM, STEWART, THORNTON, DAVIDSON, GAY, BARGER, BOLLING (and variations), MONK, FREDIANI, La CHANCE, and the list goes on and on.
PET PEEVE (borrowed from a friend): Find A Grave "number" collectors who have no interest in genealogy or family links and refuse to transfer to relatives unless they meet so-called "findagrave guidelines". Shame on you!
