I began my family genealogy in 1992 when an elderly aunt asked us to take her to a Friggle family reunion. At that reunion was a gentleman from California who was adding to the Friggle genealogy. We bought a booklet of what he had amassed over the years. Then, the communications ceased and he disappeared. I felt that this valuable data should not be lost and so I purchased Family Tree Maker and entered all that he had. Since then. I have been able to trace my Mother's Friggle line back to 1696 in England.

I am a former United States Air Force S/Sgt with service from 1956 to 1960.

A word about my photography.
I always take a shot of the marker and then another shot of the name(s) and use my computer software to edit the pictures as good as I can get them before posting them on Findagrave.

My photography has evolved the more I take shots of cemetery stones. I feel that a person who comes to Findagrave wants to see the stone itself as clear as possible and not a general view of grass around the stone. Therefore my shots are close to the marker.

Cemeteries Entirely Photographed:

Hironimus, Union County, 2007, 261 headstones
Pine Hall, Centre County, 2008, 2908 headstones
Pine Grove Mills, Centre County, 2008, 682 headstones
Bredinsburg Cemetery Venango County 2013, 108 headstones
Snow Shoe Church of Christ, Centre County, 2013, 145 headstones
Askey Cemetery, Centre County, 2013, 1964 headstones
Centre County Memorial Park, Centre County, 2015, 8758 Headstones

My wife and I have photographed several cemeteries in Union County plus numerous individual family headstones.

In 2021, my wife and I will be 85 years old, so we will not be doing much anymore. I hope what we have done will help others.

You may use any photos you wish that is why they are there to help you with documentation. I only ask that you attribute the photo to me so that if anyone has questions I can try to answer them.
