Find a Grave ID

Find A Grave suggests a transfer of memorials within four generations. This includes your spouse, siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. I could be a cousin, so I may prefer to hold on to a memorial. If you have additional information, please send it along and I will add it.

I find FAG very helpful, and have been happy to contribute what I know about individuals, most of which are family members. If you find a memorial that needs updates, corrections, etc., please contact me through the "EDIT" function on the individual memorial. The new edit program is so much easier.

Please do not post family relationships when you add a flower. If too many people do that, the memorial becomes very crowded.

If I add an obituary, I give credit to the funeral home or newspaper that I got it from, but I don't add names of living family members to help protect their privacy, per FAG guidelines. Even though a complete obituary is available elsewhere online, the family didn't give permission for the obituary to be posted just anywhere, so it is the courteous thing to do is to omit living family members as FAG suggests.
