Services for Albert F. Mayer were at 2 p.m. July 26 in Lanesburgh Lutheran Church.
Mr. Mayer, a former New Prague resident, died July 24 at Community Memorial Hospital after a year's illness.
Burial was in Lanesburgh cemetery. Bearers were his nephews, Emil and Otto Klingberg of Prior Lake, Leo Murphy of Shieldsville, William Dahlke of Chaska, Helmurth Dahlke of Carver and Ewald Haver of Belle Plaine.
Attending the services and funeral were persons from Minneapolis, Shakopee, Jordan, Chaska, Carver, Norwood, New Germany, Fairmont, Prior Lake, Faribault, Shieldsville, Montgomery and New Prague area.
Albert F Mayer was the son of Christian and Catherine Schoenecker Mayer. He married Carolyn Dahlke October 14, 1908 in Big Falls, Koochiching County. They established their home in that county, but a few years later moved to Ashley, North Dakota where he was employed. In 1911 they returned to New Prague.
