Mrs. Meyers was the former Stacia Mayer, a former New Prague resident. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Mayer (Katherine Schoenecker) she resided in New Prague for many years before moving to Minneapolis where she worked as an expert seamstress. Mrs. Meyer is survived by her sister Agnes Roehl of Jordan, a nephew, Raymond Linn and other nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian burial was held Thursday, April 30 at 9:30 a.m. Visitation was Wednesday, April 29 at the Thomson Brothers Funeral Home, Minneapolis. Interment was in the Fort Snelling Cemetery. Stacia married Charles E Meyers August 28, 1944 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, New Prague, MN. In addition to being a seamstress she had taught in the schools at Jordan for several years.
