Funeral Set For Mrs. Cline

Fire Chief's Wife To Be Buried Friday

Services for Mrs. Margaret Ann Cline, wife of Lawrence Cline, Chester fire department chief, will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester by the Rev. A. F. Hanes, pastor of the First Christian Church. Burial will be in Columbiana County Memorial Park. She died Tuesday morning at their home, 530 California Ave. Mrs. Cline was born in East Liverpool, a daughter of the Fred and Clara Sittig Goppert, and spent virtually her lifetime in Chester. She was a member of the church. She leaves four daughters, Mrs. Rosemary Ibbs of Chester, and Juanita Cline, Esther Cline and Margaret Cline, all at home; three sons, John Cline of Monaca, and Lewis Cline and Lawrence Cline Jr. of Cleveland; six sisters, Mrs. Clara Hall of South Gate, Calif., Mrs. Mary Young of East Rochester, Mrs. Irene Moore of Erwin, Tenn., Mrs. Pauline Boughner of Ohio View, and Mrs. Helen Allison and Mrs. Sara Stoffel of Chester; three brothers, George Goppert of Salineville, and Adam Goppert and Max Goppert of East Liverpool, and 10 grandchildren. Members of the fire department will pay respects Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral chapel where friends may call tonight and tomorrow night.
