Adam Goppert

Adam H. Goppert, 80, of Clearwater, Fla., a former resident of East Liverpool, died this morning at a hospital there after a brief illness. He was born here, moving to Florida about 10 years ago. Mr. Goppert was retired from the former Edwin M. Knowles China Co. He was a member of Riddle Masonic Lodge 315 and the IBPAW. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Pearl Goppert at home; a son, Paul E. Goppert of Clearwater; a daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Edna) Rauschenburg of Sun Valley, Calif.; a brother, George Goppert of East Liverpool, four sisters, Mrs. Hilda Allison, Mrs. Irene DeLong and Mrs. Sarah Stoffel, all of Chester, and Mrs. Mary Young of East Rochester, nine grandchildren and 16 great - grandchildren. Services and burial will be held Thursday at Clearwater. The Moss Funeral Home in Clearwater is in charge of arrangements.
