1. Mrs. Hazel Marie Boyer, 76, rural route Carthage, died at 3 P.M. Monday, June 21, at her home.
The daughter of Frank W. and Edith Fulton Barnard, she was born in Hancock County. She was married to Howard Boyer on April 26, 1913 in Ft. Madison.
She was a member of the Christian Church.
She is survived by five sons, Vernon, Ferris, Ill.; Hubert and Leon, Adrian, Ill; William and James both of Carthage; four daughters, Mrs. James (Betty) Henson, Plymouth, IL.; Thelma Dunsworth, Adrian; Mrs. Edw. (Wilds) Neal, East Peoria, Ill.; Mrs. Herbert (Helen) Overlander, Mendon; four sisters Jessie Nichols, Carthage; Elsie McCollum, Ferris; Mona Lehman, Canton, Ill.; Maude Bellville, Bently; 30 grandchildren; and 34 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2 P.M. Thursday, June 24, at the Neiser Funeral Home. The Rev. H.P. French and the Rev. Donald Skyles will officiate. Burial will be in Moss Ridge Cemetery.
