At a single ring ceremony performed at the Christian church parsonage at eight o'clock Saturday evening, Miss Helen Mae Allie of Wolcott became the bride of Robert F. May of Rensselaer. The vows were sealed by the Rev. Doyle Mullen in the presence of Mr. and Mrs. E.D. Nesbitt and daughter and a sister of the bride.
The bride, an attractive young lady who has been making her home in Rensselaer only a few weeks, is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B.R. Allie of Wolcott, where the family moved about three months ago from Idaville. She was graduated from Rolling Praire high school with the class of 1930. She is an accomplished young lady who has made many friends during her brief residence here.
Mr. May is a son of Charles V. May. He was born in Remington, but the greater part of his lifetime has been spent in Rensselaer. After attending Rensselaer high school in his freshman year, he entered Wolcott high school from which he was graduated with the class of 1928. Mr. May is one of Rensselaer's most popular young men. At present he is employed as a chauffeur for W.F. Smith.
Mr. and Mrs. May will make their home in the residence of the groom's father on College avenue.
The many friends of the young couple join in wishing for them a long married life of happinesss and prosperity.
