BROOKSTON-Frances Ruth "Fran" Allie Logan, 77, of 701 S. Ripley St., died at 6 a.m.
Tuesday, March 23, in Regency Place, Lafayette. She had been there for three weeks.
Born Nov. 3, 1921, in Burnettsville, she had lived in Brookston since 1959. She was a 1939 graduate of Wolcott High School.
She married George Dean Logan on Sept. 6, 1941, in Eaton. He preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 1991.
Mrs. Logan worked in several factories and owned a variety store in Brookston for several years. She later helded her husband manage the Standard Service Station until his retirement.
She was a member of Brookston Federated Church, Federated Women's Christian Fellowship and Social Committee, and Order of Eastern Star Crystal Chapter 165 of Monticello.
Surviving are four sons, Gary D. Logan of Griffith, Warren L. and Ronald J. Logan, both of Lafayette and Alan J. Logan of Brookston; a brother, Raymond Allie of Rensselaer, four sisters, Helen Critser of Rensselaer, Edith Dellinger of Monticello, Irene Oberlander of Wolcott, and Rosemary Young of Brookston, and a nephew raised by the family, Robert Allie of Wolcott.
Burial at Tippecanoe Memory Gardens Mausoleum, West Lafayette.
Also surviving, 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by 2 sisters and a great-granson.
