Raymond Warren Allie, 70, of Rensselaer, died at 7:15 p.m on Friday, June 4, 2004 at Jasper County Hospital.
He had been ill for several years and had been in the hospital for one day.
He was born at Wolcott on Nov. 9, 1933 to Bascom and Lillian Houk Allie.
He married Sarah Sutton and later married Kathryn Kirsick on Dec. 26, 1981 in Rensselaer. She survives.

He lived in Wolcott most of his life and lived in Monticello for a time before moving to Rensselaer 22 years ago.

He was a 1952 graduate of Wolcott High School and served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He was a tool and die maker and worked at Per Pak at Foresman and Dwyer Intsturments in Wolcott.

Other survivors include a duaghter, Brenda Allie of Lafayette and sons Raymod Allie and Andy Allie, both of Wolcott; stepdaughters Tina Garrett of Indianapolis and Cythia Cunnigham of Delphi and a stepson, William Suhr of Idaville; a brother, Robert Allie of Wolcott and sisters Irene Oberlander of Wolcott and Rosemary Young of Brookston; four grandhcildren; six great grandchildren and 3 step grandchildren.

Four sisters are deceased.

Burial will be in Remington Cemetery.
