Ms. Wallace Owen Of Wolcott Died Sunday; Final Rites Tuesday
Mrs. Patricia Leone Owen, of 509 W. North Street, Wolcott, passed away at 2 a.m. Sunday at Home Hospital, Lafayette. She had been ill for two weeks, and hospitalized for two days.
Born February 8, 1918 in Jewell, Iowa, she was the daughter of Bascom and Lillian (Houk) Allie. She was married on July 12, 1952, to Wallce Owen, who survives. The deceased was a member of the Wolcott Baptist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. She had lived at Wolcott since she was a small child.
Surviving with the husband and mother is a son by a previous marriage, Bob Allie; the following sisters and brothers, Mrs. Gene Oberlander and Raymond Allie, both of Wolcott, Mrs. Gordon Lucas and Mrs. James Critser of Rensselaer, Mrs. Dean Logan and Mrs. James Young of Brookston and Mrs. David Dellinger of Monticello and two grandchildren.
The body is at Foster Funeral Home at Wolcott, where friends may call any time. Final rites will be conducted there at 2 p.m. Tuesday with Rev. Jim Keown officiating. Interment will be in Remington Cemetery.
