Mrs. John Propson, 72, nee Rosa Wettstein, died Monday afternoon, at the Calumet Memorial Hospital. She had been ill for several years.
Born in the town of Chilton on Oct. 5, 1889, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wettstein.
On May 10, 1911, she married John Propson at the Holy Trinity Church, Jericho. He died March 12, 1947.
She was a member of the Christian Mothers of St. Elizabeth’s Church, Kloten and the Daughters of Isabella.
Survivors are 13 children; 8 sons,
Leander of Waukegan, Ill.;
Gregor of the town of Brothertown,
Erwin,
Joseph,
Arthur,
Andrew and
Theodore, all the town of West Bend, and
John of Stockbridge; 5 daughters,

Mrs. Leo (Isabelle) Miller of the town of Stockbridge,
Mrs. Cyril (Rosemary ) Karls of the town of Stockbridge,
Mrs. Claire (Dolores) Dutkievic of rural Appleton,
Mrs. Anthony (Alice) Sabel of Kiel and
Mrs. Robert (Dorothy) Gegner of Oshkosh,

one brother, Albert Wettsein of Stockbridge, one sister, Mrs. August Propson (Louise) of Chilton, and 50 grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at St. Elizabeth’s Church at Kloten. The Rev. Raymond Conard was celebrant of the requiem Mass and burial was in St. Elizabeth’s Church cemetery.
