Lelia is the daughter of Olive Leolia (Ussery) and Andrew Jackson Gideon Green. She married Samuel Oliver Goldman Alexander on 10 Sep 1916 in Farmersville, Collin, TX. They had two children:

Charles Oliver Alexander b. 19 Feb 1918
Merle Wayne Alexander b. 23 Aug 1920

Her granddaughter said that Lelia was one who could remember everything.......she was amazing with her superb memory. She was always on the go. She always had a garden and raised chickens for the eggs and to eat.
