Hello new Find a Grave friends. I'm new to this site. I've recently become very interested in Genealogy and History. I'm not electronically savvy and I'm suffering from an illness that has thus far been undiagnosed. I'm convinced it's genetic. If anyone has information that can help me ,I welcome it. My birth name is Christine May Smith. My closest ancestors are Smith, Carney, Fugate, Stacy, Green, Snyder, Banks, Strange, Emerson. We are all related no matter how distant. I know I'm related to Ralph Waldo Emerson. His/my family tree has been traced back 10,000 years that I know of. I just need some other blanks filled in. especially from Appalachian clans forward.
