Margaret Theresa Downey died at St. James hospital in Pontiac at 7:30 a.m. on January 7, 1972. She had been in ill health for two years and hospitalized four days.
Services were held at St. Mary's Catholic church in Pontiac with burial in St. Paul's cemetery, Odell.
Margaret was born July 20, 1882 at Odell, the third child and third daughter of Willam and Bridget (Noonan) Nolan. She married Timothy Patrick Downey on February 8, 1911 at Odell. He died on July 23, 1955. Margaret & Timothy had two children, Cyril and Marie.
