Carl Pettis
Carl V. Pettis, 85, 3675 Tower Drive, died Wednesday at Sacred Heart Hospital. He was born in Fairchild and married Edna Chatterson there on April 1, 1934. He was a World War I veteran. He was employed by National Presto Industries until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, two sons, Guy, Minneapolis, Rodney, Eau Claire; three brothers. Earl, Eau Claire, Floyd, Augusta, Jewel, Fairchild; three sisters, Doris Nutten, Westland, Mich., Olive McSorley, Eau Claire, Marie Volse, Newhall, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Stokes and Sons Funeral Chapel, with burial in Rest Haven Gardens.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday and until services at the funeral home.
