Olive McSorley
Olive M. McSorley, 78. 904 James Street, died Saturday at Luther Hospital.
Olive Pettis was born in the Pettisville-Falrchild area and married Raymond McSorley in 1925 at Eau Claire. She was a clerk for Kohlhepp's Hardware and held offices in the Royal Neighbors and St. James Rosary Confraternity.
Survivors include six daughters, Patricia Thomson, Phoenix, Ariz., Kathleen Lanman, Bloomington, Minn., Deanna McDonald, Henderson, Minn., Virginia Rudd, Riverside, Calif., Jeanne Bartle, Janice Legge, both of Eau Claire; six sons, Raymond of Klmberly, Jerome, Zapata, Texas, William, Phoenix, Ariz., Arthur, Lavene, Ariz,, Larry, Dennis, both of Eau Claire; two sisters, Marie Volse, New Hall, Calif., Doris Nutton [sic], Inkster, Mich.; two brothers, Earl, Eau Claire, Juel, Fairchild; 52 grandchildren, and 63 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. James the Greater Catholic Church, with burial in Lakeview Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and until 11 a.m. Wednesday at Golden Funeral Home, where a prayer vigil will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
