Cecelia Ploeger, age 55, Eland, town of Elderon, died Thursday, April 1, 1969 at Wausau Memorial Hospital.

She was born November 23, 1913 in the town of Norrie, the daughter of the late Martin and Mary (Hoks) Verkuilen.

On June 25, 1932 Cecelia was united in marriage to Gilbert Ploeger in Birnamwood. He survives.

In addition to her husband, survivors include six children, Marie (Edmund) Rzentkowski, Eland, Irene (William) Wanta, Galloway, Ann (Robert) Cayo, Neenah, James (Regina) Ploeger, Milwaukee, Donald Ploeger, at home and Gerald (Diane) Ploeger, Neenah; 16 grandchildren; five brothers, Edwin Verkuilen, Menasha, Leslie (Hattie) Verkuilen, Elderon, Elmer (Genevieve) Verkuilen, Hatley, Melvin (Helen) Verkuilen, Wittenberg and Henry Verkuilen, Menasha; two sisters, Marie Breske, Eland and Irma Radke, Wausau.

Cecelia was preceded in death by two sisters, Rose Schrieber and Agnes VanderKooy.

Funeral services were held April 5, 1969 at Holy Family Catholic Church, Wittenberg. The Rev. Ralph Herman officiated.
