HENRY N. VERKUILEN
721 S. Bluemound Drive Age 75, died Thursday, October 15, 1992. He was born June 6, 1917 in Elderon, WIsconsin, the son of the late Martin and Mary (Hoks) Verkuilen. On September 3, 1938 he married Ethel Belling and they had been Appleton residents for 43 years. Henry was an employee of Kimberly-Clark for 32 years retiring in June of 1980. He was a member of Kimberly-Clark Quarter Century Club and a charter member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Ethel; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and John Smith, Menasha; Susan and Michael Treviranus, Sun Prairie; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gerald and Roseann Verkuilen, Appleton; Thomas and Susan Verkuilen, Seymour; nine grandchildren: Michael (Laura) Smith, Stacey Smith, Amanda and Keeley Treviranus, Vannessa (Gilbert) DeSantos, Scott, Paul, Tammy and Heidi Verkuilen; two great-granddaughters: Chelsey and Leah DeSantos. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Viola Winarski, Menasha. He was preceded in death by seven brothers and five sisters. The Mass of the Ressurrection will be Monday, October 19, 1992 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 1617 W. Pine Street with Father Orville H. Janssen officiating. Entombment will be in Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 N. Superior Street on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. and at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass. A parish prayer and scripture service will be Sunday at 7 p.m. A memorial fund is being established.
