Daughter of James Henry Miller and Mahala Ann Vassar, Ilah married William Ernest Stokes.~~1982 Newspaper Obituary: The Glencoe community was greatly saddened by the death of Mrs. Ernest (Ilah) Stokes. She was a long-time resident of the area, and well-known. Her work with the Senior Citizens' Center was of great assistance to the area. Her gentleness and kindness will be missed by many (especially me). She raised a large family here and we extend deep sympathy to all.
