Lola E. Taylor was born to Irvin and Mary Connett Martin. She married Samuel Taylor Jan. 5, 1946 in Pekin, IL. He died October 25, 1979. She also was preceded in death by one sister, two brothers and two grandchildren.
Surviving are four daughters, Phyllis Taylor of Delavan, Linda Koetter of Pekin, Lola Esther Cross of San Jose and Darla Griffin of Manito; two sons, Ivan Martin and Lowes "Lou" Taylor, both of East Peoria; Three brothers, Ralph Martin Sr., Lloyd Martin and Elton Martin, all of Pekin; one sister, Velda Hodgson of Topeka; 23 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Woolsey Funeral Home, Delavan, The Rev. Henry Miller officiating.
