Darla Sue Griffin, 67, of Manito, passed away at her home at 9:06 a.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2016. She was born October 18, 1948 in Pekin, IL to Sam and Lola (Martin) Taylor. She married Danny Griffin in Manito in 1980 and he preceded her in death on May 13, 2014.
Mrs. Griffin is survived by one daughter, Stephanie (Bobby) Taylor of Rosebud, Arkansas, step-daughter, Dana (Jason) Leaser of Lincoln, IL, two brothers, Ivan (Colleen) Martin and Lou (Artrella) Taylor, both of East Peoria, two sisters, Phyllis Taylor of Delavan and Lola (Larry) Cross of Havana. Also surviving are five grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Danny Griffin, son, David Allen Cox, stepson, Jerald Griffin and one sister, Linda Koetter.
