Velda Rose Hodgson, 70, of Beechwood Health Care Center died Tuesday, April 12, 1994, at the center.
Born Aug. 4, 1923, in Pekin to Irvin and Mary Alice Connett Martin, she married Harlan D. Hodgson on Feb. 17, 1944, in Pekin. He died March 25, 1987, in Danville. Two sisters and two brothers also preceded her in death.
Surviving are one son, Clyde Eugene of Chicago; one daughter, Mrs. Larry (Sandra Kay) Lynch of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and three brothers, Lloyd M., Ralph L. and Elton D. Martin, all of Pekin.
She was a cook and waitress in the Pekin area.
Graveside services will be at Glendale Memorial Gardens.
